Second place in the F3 Spanish Championship

The driver Roldan Rodriguez finished second in the F3 Spanish Championship in the last race of the season in Montmelo, Barcelona, after finishing sixth.

Rodriguez was third at the start and ready to steal the leadership from the Argentinian Ricardo Risatti. Roldan made a great start of the race, but Himar Acosta got in his way. The Spaniard had to roughly hit the brake and step outside the track in order not to crash, circumstance that made him lose many positions and thus, making the win a Little bit more difficult.

Roldan finishes the championship in second position and he manifests his sensations as follows: “ a pity that I couldn’t win it. The first win came in Estoril and from there, we have won in Albacete, in Cheste and in Jerez. Obviously my goal is to win, nobody wants to finish second, but it has been a good year.”

In some days Roldan travels to Macau to participate in one of the most prestigious races in the world where there have been winners such as Senna in 1983 and Schumacher in 1990.
