The driver from Campos F3 Team, Rodriguez, achieved this morning an important win in the second race of the F3 Spanish Championship in Cheste that allows him to have possibilities to fight for the championship.


Rodriguez, that started third behind Prost and Jimenez, made a great start that gave him the first position, place that he would not leave during the entire race. The driver managed to impose a fast pace to try and scape from Prost, Cortes and Jimenez.


This way, the driver from Campos F3 Team made a race with no mistakes, also achieving the fastest lap, with his followers at more than 5 seconds distance.

Roldan got first on the third lap and managed to maintain the position until the finishing line, thirteen laps later.


The driver from Campos Racing dominated the race comfortably and built a 5 second gap with Cortes. With this triumph, Rodriguez gets second in the generals thirteen points behind the leader, Argentinian Risatti and at four races to end, two in Jerez and two in Montmelo.


After this date, the championship becomes possible for Roldan that is second only at thirteen points from Risatti. The next race will be held in Jerez the next 21 and 22nd of October.


Roldan after the meeting said that “After finishing fourth at yesterday’s race, I was willing to get the win. The start was key as i became first. I then pushed to get the victory as it is very important for the championship”.
