ROLDAN ENDS 3TH IN THE GP2 ASIAN SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP

It has been a great start for Roldan in the Asian GP2; he has been through a whole range of sensations and feelings, the joy of being in the podium, the satisfaction of the pole position, the pride within the victory, the resignation when mechanical problems arose and the anger after receiving the impacts.

That’s why he has that mixture of feelings, because he knows he could have been fighting for achieving a higher price. However, there is not a doubt that this will give Roldan a great starting point for the GP2 Main Championship that starts on the weekend of May the 9th in Montmelo, at the same time as the F1 Spanish Grand Prix.

«The third position is an achievement and the outcome is has been positive as I have had chances to win the Championship until the last grand prix, but I was overwhelmed with mechanical issues and unexpected car accidents that have made me lose a great deal of points»; at this point Roldan Rodriguez showed to be satisfied for the fact that he » had always fought for the top placings, although the logical scenario would have been to get points in each single race».

«Things came this way, but I got to be happy for my third place in a high level Championship like this one and in which a lot more could have been done»
